Jason B. Allen is a Special Education teacher in Georgia. He has worked in Education for over fifteen (15) years as a teacher and leader serving students, families and communities. 

He is a longtime advocate for male engagement and building the work of increasing the number of male educators or color in classrooms and boardrooms.  His podcast, Speak Black Man, focuses on ways to recruit, retain and empower Black male educators to advocate for social justice and equity mirroring his work with Profound Gentlemen.

 

As a long time blogger, Jason shares his experiences as a Special Education teacher through The Educators Voice Blog (TEVB). He also provides a platform, the No Cap Analysis blog, created to lift his student voices in decisions to improve and reimagine education. Additionally, he shares his experience as an educator through the Indy K12 blog. 

Jason recently created educational entities, an educational consulting company to provide resources, training and support for those seeking improved educational systems. He is a member of the Association of American Educators (AAE), Profound Gentlemen, AAE Foundation Advocacy Fellow and is seeking his doctoral degree in school improvement and special education.
